फरवरी 2, 2026

2025 was a challenging year for millions of people around the world. Artificial intelligence moved decisively into the mainstream, disrupting economies and reshaping how work is done. Climate concerns intensified as extreme weather — floods, cyclones, wildfires and record-breaking heat — became a near-daily feature of the news. Long-running conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza escalated further, destabilizing entire regions and claiming the lives of countless civilians.
At the same time, political discourse in many countries grew increasingly polarized and toxic, leaving many people feeling unsettled, weary and uncertain about the future.
Against this backdrop, Prem Rawat continued his lifelong work of reminding people of something essential: peace is not only possible, but accessible to every human being. His message was both simple and profound — that the peace so many people seek in the world around them must first be discovered within.
In a year marked by disruption and division, this invitation to turn inward and experience personal peace offered a steady, human counterpoint to the noise of the world.
The bigger the circle of darkness,
the bigger the circle of light.
Prem Rawat
Highlights of Prem Rawat’s 2025 Activities
In 2025, Prem Rawat logged 82,076 miles, traveled to 27 cities in 16 countries and, with the support of the Words of Peace Global Event Fund, served as featured speaker at more than 69 gatherings, including public events and media interviews. What follows is a summary of some of the year’s major milestones.
“Breath: Wake Up to Life” Book Launch — New York City
January marked a milestone with the launch of Prem Rawat’s latest book, “Breath: Wake Up to Life,” at a special author event in New York City’s Times Square. The English edition quickly reached No. 1 on Amazon’s Hot New Releases list.
The book has since been released in Bosnian, Croatian, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Serbian, Slovenian and Spanish. A sequel to “Hear Yourself: How to Find Peace in a Noisy World,” the book explores the relationship between breath and conscious living.

Record-Breaking Event in Mirzapur, India
On March 2, Prem Rawat and Indian author Vipul Rikhi set a Guinness World Record for the largest audience at a multi-author book reading, drawing 133,234 attendees.
The event marked Prem Rawat’s third Guinness World Record and reflected the continued global interest in his message of peace and Self-Knowledge.
Know yourself. Recognize who you are.
Experience that which is within you.
Otherwise, you will not experience joy in your life,
no matter how many movies you see
or how many places you travel to.

India Spring Tour
Prem Rawat’s 2025 India tour reached audiences in Raipur, Mirzapur and Dehradun during February and March. Each event focused on reconnecting with one’s breath and discovering inner peace.
The Baisakhi celebration in New Delhi on April 13 renewed a tradition begun by Prem Rawat’s father, Shri Hans Ji Maharaj, bringing communities together to celebrate life’s preciousness, gratitude and practice of Self-Knowledge.

Historic Returns to Nepal and Taiwan

The Taiwan event marked his 52nd speaking engagement in the country since 1984, highlighting a relationship spanning four decades and underscoring enduring connections across the Asia-Pacific region.
Kyoto Celebration: 100th Event in Japan
On May 16, Prem Rawat and thousands of attendees celebrated his 100th event in Japan since 1972. The occasion featured “Evolution: A Decade of Effort and Growth,” a 12-minute video presentation highlighting innovative tools developed to share his message of personal peace across generations and cultures.

The tragedy of a human being
isn’t the lack of what we are given.
It is the lack of knowing what we are given

Costa Rica — known for abolishing its military in 1948 to invest in education and health care — provided a fitting backdrop for his message.
You are so fortunate —
but only if you can recognize,
accept and embrace the reality of you.

My friend showed me the business of divine,
My friend showed me the way to the one that’s mine.
In the silence of the heart where the truth aligns,
My friend showed me the business of divine.
In the open field it waited, lying hidden in clay,
Shining softly in sunlight though the world just walked away.
Many passed without a glimmer, never caught the sign,
But the true heart heard it whisper, lifted what was left behind.
My friend showed me the business of divine,
My friend showed me the way to the one that’s mine.
In the silence of the heart where the truth aligns,
My friend showed me the business of divine.
Everyone speaks of the jewel, says they know the sacred thread,
But the knot of life stays tightened while the truth remains unsaid.
Only those who dare to loosen what is tangled in the mud
Feel the openin’ inside them, see the treasure left behind.
My friend showed me the business of divine …
Blind are traveling in darkness, blind ones leading blind,
Who will point toward the doorway? Who will light the hidden sign?
Only love can lift the shadow, only grace can clear the path,
Only guidance from the inward frees us from the wanderer’s wrath.
My friend showed me the business of divine …
Like a fly caught deep in honey, wings are dreamin’ of the sky,
Sweetness holds it in its prison though it longs to rise and fly.
Desire pulls and tightens softly, every struggle just reminds,
Some dreams free you when awakened, some dreams keep you stuck inside.
My friend showed me the business of divine …
Henna leaves look dull and quiet till the fire of truth is stirred,
Kabir saw the hidden color in the silence of the word.
When the heart becomes a canvas and the being begins to shine,
Then the color of awakening paints the business of divine.
My friend showed me the business of divine,
My friend showed me the way to the one that’s mine.
In the silence of the heart where the truth aligns,
My friend showed me the business of divine.
Oh my my, Oh my my,
remember the Name,
Life is passing by
like shadows in vain.
Like a bird with no wings to fly,
Like an elephant with no tusks to rely,
Like a child with no father to claim,
That’s like forgetting the Name.
Oh my my, Oh my my,
remember the Name,
Life is passing by
like shadows in vain.
Like a body with no eyes to guide,
Like a night with no moon to light,
Like the earth with no clouds or rain,
So is a life without the Name.
Oh my my, Oh my my,
remember the Name,
Life is passing by
like shadows in vain.
Like a well that’s run dry,
Like a cow with no milk for a baby’s cry,
Like a temple with no lamp’s flame,
That’s the heart that forgets the Name.
Oh my my, Oh my my,
remember the Name,
Life is passing by
like shadows in vain.
Lay down anger, fear, and greed,
Leave illusion, let the True One lead.
Nanak says: In this world of time,
No one is yours but the Divine.
Oh my my, Oh my my,
remember the Name,
Life is passing by
like shadows in vain.
Oh my my, Oh my my
Life is passing by.
Oh my my, Oh my my
Life is passing by.
