In his very personal book, Hear Yourself, Prem Rawat shares key moments of his life, from the 13-year-old Indian boy, suddenly propelled onto the stage at the Glastonbury Festival in 1971, to his experience as an airplane pilot. He talks about his encounters with remarkable people, from political leaders to prisoners he meets with at some of the most inhospitable prisons in the world.

Born in 1957 in the Himalayan foothills, Prem Rawat learned from his father, a respected teacher. He began delivering his message of peace around the world as a teenager and has reached hundreds of millions of people in more than 100 countries.
He created the Prem Rawat Foundation to help address basic human needs, including peace education, a course that empowers each participant to discover their inner resources, which is essential for personal fulfillment. Prem lives in Los Angeles with his family and travels around the world every year, meeting people interested in his practical approach to life.
