Two years ago, on April 2, 2023, Prem Rawat established his first Guinness World Record (GWR) for the largest audience ever to attend a book reading by a single author (114,704).
Since that time, he has established two other Guinness World Records for the largest audience at a lecture (375,603) and the largest audience at a multi-author book reading (133,234).
What follows is a “Behind the Scenes” video produced by Words of Peace that explains the purpose of Prem Rawat making the effort to establish Guinness World Records.
– Behind the Scenes: The value of Prem Rawat establishing Guinness World Records, 8:02
Since the age of nine, Prem Rawat has been doing everything in his power to help people discover their true potential. Establishing three Guinness World Records is simply another way for him to call attention to this most vital topic.
Consider this: following his first two Guinness World Records, Prem Rawat’s global reach extended to 680 million people. Now that he had established a third GWR, his reach has extended to more than a billion people.
Anyone who sets a Guinness World Record must meet rigorous verification standards established by third-party adjudicators. These standards, all of which Prem Rawat has met with accuracy and diligence, enables people all over the world to more deeply consider the value that Prem Rawat provides.
The numbers speak for themselves.
In response to Prem Rawat’s Guinness World Records, awareness of his work has increased from 1 in 20 people to 1 in 3 in India. His most recent Guinness World Record, established on March 2, resulted in more than 300 media reports, plus TV and radio coverage.
In response to his second Guinness World Record, media coverage extended for more than a month.
As a result, the media is now actively pursuing interviews with Prem Rawat. Notably, even before he achieved his third Guinness World Record, two of India’s largest TV stations reached out to interview him.
Know yourself.
Recognize who you are.
Experience that which is within you.
Otherwise, you will not experience joy in your life, no matter how many movies you see
or how many places you travel to.
– Prem Rawat, Mirzapur, India, March 2, 2025
In just the first two days, there were over 50 media reports, including coverage by two radio stations reaching 67 cities.
Simply put, Prem Rawat’s increased public profile in response to his record-setting accomplishments is opening new doors with media, institutions, and VIPs.
The impact of his Guinness World Records is also drawing attention from Prem Rawat’s book publishers—HarperCollins, Penguin Random House, and Macmillan. Macmillan, the publisher of his most recent book, Breath: Wake Up to Life, is now finding ways to incorporate his GWR successes into its promotional efforts.
