Nathan Brenowitz, a longtime resident of Woodstock, NY, has attended two of Prem Rawat’s events in his life. The first was in 2010 when Prem spoke at the Bearsville Theater in Nathan’s hometown. The second took place just last week on February 28 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. What follows is a brief interview with Nathan, conducted the morning after he experienced Prem’s message for the second time.

How would you describe the essence of what Prem Rawat talked about?

Prem had me get in touch with how unbelievably lucky I am to simply be alive at this moment in time. It sounds so simple, yet it is much too often taken for granted.

What impact did attending the event have on you?  How did you feel at the end of it?

The event woke me up big time. I don’t need to go looking outside myself to find peace and fulfillment. It exists right inside me and all I have to do is stay in touch with it. By the end of the event I walked out way more joyful than when I first entered.

What stood out for you about the event? Did anything surprise you?

Prem spoke without any notes. I felt him speaking directly to me. He reminded me that I breathe in divine energy all day long. I was surprised at his wonderful sense of humor. He delivered his message effortlessly. He was never boring and he always had my total attention. I also enjoyed how well organized the event was put together. Volunteers were there to respond to all of my needs and I was made to feel very welcomed.

What did the vibe in the hall feel like to you?

The energy in the room was electric and contagious. Being with Prem live made all the difference.

Why do you think Prem Rawat’s message is especially relevant during these times?

I actually feel that his message would be relevant at any time past or present. Many people these days feel stressed out from the negative news. Prem’s message is a welcome relief to this negativity.

How did you feel the day after the event? What, if anything, stayed with you?

I felt a need to share my good feeling with others. Sharing the positive vibes brought the event right back to me.  What has stayed with me is the joy I feel in simply leading my life – just being, not doing.

Is there anything after the event that you found yourself reflecting on or considering in a new way?

I found myself taking more deep breaths and actually feeling the divine inside myself.

Anything else you want to share with the readers of PremRawat.com?

Having the opportunity to be with him live is so very inspiring. At the end of the event, I had a  big smile on my face and I could not wait to share the experience with my family.
