For more than 50 years, Prem Rawat has been relentlessly traveling the world advocating that all people have a fundamental human right to live with dignity, peace and prosperity.

But more than just talk about the human potential for fulfillment, he has created a variety of inspiring initiatives to help people of all genders, races and creeds practically discover the peace within themselves.

His Peace Education Program has proven to be an empowering resource for disadvantaged groups, and it will be featured at an upcoming Women’s Rights Conference.

In honor of the United Nations International Day of Women’s Rights on March 8, the Global Peace Education Networkwill be hosting a free forum on Zoom (one day earlier, on March 7) that will highlight a number of empowering initiatives around the world, including thePeace Education Program.

In an ongoing effort to help establish a culture of peace on a healthy planet, The Global Peace Education Network (GPEN) connects peace educators and communities, advocates peace education policies and programs, and campaigns for an official United Nations Global Peace Education Day. The organization has the support of UNESCO and includes volunteers from Spain, South America, France, United States, Canada, Germany and a variety of Arab nations.

It’s upcomingMarch 7 Women’s Rights conference is one of a series of quarterly conferences coordinated by the GPEN.

Recognized annually by the U.N. since 1977,International Women’s Day is a global event that celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

Register for the “Femina Vox – Peace Education and Justice” Forum Here.The forum will be conducted in English with translation available in Spanish and French. 

The forum will be hosted by Dr. Guila Clara Kessous, UNESCO Artist for Peace. Among other luminaries, she will interview Peace Education Program Director Willow Baker and Lumpka Ngxoli, a facilitator of the Peace Education Program in South Africa.

Explains Ms. Baker: “I think women should have a special role in all noble causes and especially in everything that promotes peace. Women are very active in the Peace Education Program because it’s about personal peace and growth. Discovering appreciation, choice, self-awareness and contentment can be a very liberating experience. Women often express that they have been transformed during the workshops, and many of them become facilitators to help others discover their inner strength.”
