The Prem Rawat Foundation Gives $100,000 in Grants for Hurricane Dorian Relief Efforts

Earlier this year on August 25th, Hurricane Dorian swept through the Bahamas devastating the small island country, killing more than 60 people, and leaving over 70,000 people homeless. The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) came to their relief in solidarity by providing grant support to organizations serving Hurricane Dorian victims. These grants, totaling $100,000  are providing food, water, medicine, psychosocial services, and medical care to those in desperate need.

Disaster relief is always an expensive necessity. The Prem Rawat Foundation’s financial support for World Central Kitchen and Americares has reached thousands in need of emergency assistance. These charities with extensive networks already established at the grassroots level were able to mobilize volunteers, goods, and services quickly and efficiently to meet pressing demands.

Since Prem Rawat founded The Prem Rawat Foundation in  2001, generous donors from around the world have come forward to contribute to the greater good of humanity. Through the compassionate benefactor support, the Foundation has been able to provide sustainable development, peace education, and disaster relief grants in more than 40 countries and growing.
