Prem Rawat’s most recent book, “Breath: Wake Up to Life,” published on Jan. 28, 2025, continues having a big impact around the world. To date, an estimated 60,000 copies have been sold. It has appeared on the USA Today bestseller list, the Amazon bestseller lists in Italy and India, and has also made it to No. 3 in the Irish Times.
The book gets down to the basics, celebrating what all people share in common, no matter what their differences might to be.
A transformative guide
that reconnects us to the fundamental
essence or our existence
– our breath.

Prem Rawat talking about breath and fulfilment (0:42)
The book has been published in English, Spanish, Italian, Hindi, Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian. Translations into several other languages are planned, including Portuguese, German and Greek.
Every day,
become a true disciple of this breath.
– Prem Rawat
On March 2, in Mirzapur, India, Prem Rawat read a chapter from the book at his third Guinness World Record event for the largest audience (133,234) at a multi-author book reading.
The backstory of Prem Rawat’s books
Prem Rawat’s entry into the world of publishing began as a small experiment in Japan in 2013 and has blossomed into a very successful initiative that spans 18 languages and the majority of countries around the world.
A doorway to experience
the divine spark within us all.

More than 500,000 books have been sold through the largest and most prestigious publishers: Penguin Random House (#1), Harper Collins (#2) and Macmillan (#3). Many other prestigious publishers are also involved in the venture: Rizzoli (Italy), Piper (Germany) and Les Editions du Seuil (France and other countries).
And Prem Rawat’s books continue to sell.
The contract for “Splitting the Arrow” (also published as “When the Desert Blooms”) is being renewed as sales grow. This will likely be the same for “Hear Yourself: How to Find Peace in a Noisy World” and “Breath: Wake Up to Life” as both books are resonating with people around the globe.
Bottom line, Prem Rawat’s books – with their life-affirming message about purpose, self-discovery, and personal peace – are timeless and will continue addressing a deep need that countless people have to live their best possible life.

Breath is the most influential book I have read.

To enjoy each breath one at a time,
to understand, to be able to go within:
this is the true art of living.

The impact of Mr. Kinsoshita and Bunya Publishing
Mr. Kinoshita, the CEO of Bunya Publishing in Japan, has been key to launching Prem Rawat’s publishing initiative. Although considered to be a small publisher, his inspired long-term vision, passion and commitment to excellence are huge.
One of Mr. Kinoshita’s guiding principles is his commitment to publishing the kind of books that will last 100 years – or in Prem Rawat’s case, 1,000 years, as he noted upon first meeting him.
From small beginnings, Mr. Kinoshita took a huge financial risk with two of Prem Rawat’s earlier books ”Splitting the Arrow” and “When the Desert Blooms.” But his vision has paid off, with more than 500,000 books sold to date and a fourth Prem Rawat book likely in 2026.
Highly recommended. Simple and sweet.
– Tim Gallwey, bestselling author, “The Inner Game of Tennis”
Global grassroots promotional efforts
In addition to traditional marketing efforts from the publisher, Macmillan, grassroots promotional efforts for “Breath: Wake Up to Life” have been launched in a variety of countries around the world. These initiatives include presentations in bookstores and libraries, social media outreach, and providing book-related articles to local magazines and newspapers.
When I look at people,
I feel love for them because
they are human beings.
Who am I to judge, if the breath is not judging?
The breath is coming into them.
The breath is coming into me.
