हम अपने बच्चों को कैसे सक्षम बनाएँ कि वे अपनी बात स्वयं रख सकें और जीवन में सही और गलत में चुनाव कर सकें ?

यही वह सवाल है जिसे मुख्य शांति शिक्षक, सामाजिक नेता और संयुक्त राष्ट्र के अधिकारी 20 सितंबर को विश्व शांति शिक्षा दिवस ‘‘जीपीईएन‘‘ के लिए तीसरे वार्षिक ऑनलाइन सम्मेलन में संबोधित करेंगे। यह सम्मेलन जो मानव अधिकार की सार्वभौमिक घोषणा की 75 वीं वर्षगांठ का सम्मान करेगा। इस सम्मेलन का विषय ‘मानवाधिकार: बच्चों को सशक्त बनाना है।”

कृपया इस महत्वपूर्ण विषय पर चर्चा के लिए 20 से अधिक वक्ताओं और सैकड़ों साथी शांति कार्यकर्ताओं, शिक्षकों, राजनयिकों, गणमान्य व्यक्तियों, विद्वानों, वैज्ञानिकों, कलाकारों, एथलीटों और अधिकारियों से जुड़ें।

प्रेम रावत शांति शिक्षा के साथ युवाओं को सशक्त बनाने पर एक मुख्य प्रस्तुति देंगे (16 मई को जोहान्सबर्ग, दक्षिण अफ्रीका में उनके द्वारा दिए गए संबोधन का एक अंश) 

टीपीआरएफ के शांति शिक्षा कार्यक्रम के कार्यक्रम प्रबंधक विलो बेकर एक नया वीडियो ‘ए स्पेस फॉर पीस’ पेश करेंगे, जो न्यूबरीपोर्ट, मैसाचुसेट्स में हाई स्कूल के छात्रों पर शांति शिक्षा के प्रभाव पर प्रकाश डालता है।
