Alguns anos atrás, um cientista decidiu fazer um experimento – pegou um espelho enorme e o colocou na selva. E é claro, você sabe que os macacos são os mais curiosos, certo? E eles vieram! E ficaram na frente do espelho – e começaram a gritar! Mostrando os dentes, batendo no espelho – e surtando. E depois fugiam. Então, um grande gorila veio, foi na frente do espelho, e gritou! E bateu no peito: “Quem é você?” Ele estava com raiva! Ele estava com muita raiva. Ele gritou e bateu no peito novamente – e andava de um lado para o outro, de um lado para o outro, de um lado para o outro – por quê? Sabe o porquê? Sabe por quê? Ele não se reconheceu. Aquele gorila que ele estava vendo não era um inimigo – era ele! Estamos nos vendo no espelho e não nos reconhecemos? Quando nos matamos uns aos outros, matamos a nós mesmos! Quando roubamos um do outro, roubamos de nós mesmos! Porque você, e você, e você, e você e você, são o meu reflexo. Você, você e você são o reflexo um do outro naquele espelho. Quando você fica com raiva do outro, fica com raiva de si mesmo! Quando você conta uma mentira, conta uma mentira para si mesmo! Quando vocês se machucam, se machucam a si mesmos! Porque você não reconhece que é você.
