A Praticidade da Paz

Há muitas pessoas que falam de teoria. Tudo bem; teoria está bem. Eu falo do prático. Meu desafio é dar a volta ao mundo e dizer às pessoas deste mundo – não na lua, não em Marte, mas nesta terra – que a paz é possível. Digo a elas: “A maior conquista da humanidade não serão os foguetes, não será a exploração espacial. Mas a maior conquista da humanidade será a paz.” Eu não posso falar de teorias. Muitas pessoas neste mundo olham para mim e dizem: “Você é louco. Nunca haverá paz. Nunca haverá paz. E eu digo: “Não. Haverá paz”. E por quê? Para a guerra, você tem que fazer alguma coisa. Você tem que se preparar. Você tem que ter armas. Tem que ter treinamento. Tem que ter uniformes. Tem que ter disciplina. Tem que ter tanques, carros, aviões, navios, submarinos Para a paz, você não precisa de nada. Nada! Nada! Nem mesmo uma flor. Nada. Porque a paz é uma luz que já está acesa dentro de você. Então, hoje à noite falarei sobre o potencial humano. Eu tenho falado: “A paz está em você”, o que você busca está em você.” Você deve estar dizendo: “Bem, se isso é verdade, como é que eu não sei ?” Certo.Veja, eu te disse que não falo de teorias; sou prático. Com seus dois olhos, você vê o mundo, certo? Certo? Você pode ver o rosto de todos com esses dois olhos, certo? Exceto o seu. Você não pode ver o seu. Para que esses olhos vejam seu rosto, você precisa de um espelho. Não é uma teoria. É algo prático.
