Prima della tragedia, Human Rights Watch aveva documentato il sovraffollamento, la mancanza di igiene, le violenze e altri seri problemi in tutto il sistema carcerario dell\u2019Honduras.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Come risposta, i dirigenti carcerari hanno cercato nuove soluzioni per ridurre la violenza e migliorare le condizioni di vita. La loro ricerca li ha condotti a due iniziative di pace di Prem\u00a0Rawat: il Programma di Educazione alla Pace e il programma Educazione alla pace e Conoscenza<\/u><\/a>\u00a0(PEAK).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Lo scorso anno, 25 persone a T\u00e1mara\u00a0hanno partecipato a sessioni in cui sono state insegnate le tecniche della Conoscenza del S\u00e9<\/u><\/a>\u00a0di Prem Rawat.
